Tip of the day: Harness the power of a network
A great business works with people for people. Make sure to cultivate your network – have a diverse contact list. Not only will you be well equipped for your own needs, but you’ll be prepared to take advantage of opportunities to help others, either through your business, or just by connecting two people who need each other.
Tip of the day: Make three calls
In a world of online media, marketing and communication, it’s easy to miss out on the benefits of really talking to people. Take time to make three calls today. Call old prospects, new prospects, a company or person you would like to work with, or call up an existing client for a referral. Decide what you will say, pick up the phone, smile and make those calls.
Tip of the day: Get it out there

A good idea that is completed and marketed intelligently, will always do better than a great idea that is tweaked and polished over and over and so becomes available too late … or not at all.
If you are sitting on ideas, waiting for the opportune time, perfect conditions and the 100th revision, DON’T. Get it completed and get it out there!
Tip of the day: Think “DO” date not “DUE” date
If you find yourself racing round like a crazy person on deadline days, panicking about how you will manage to complete your tasks or projects on time, try this… Instead of setting due dates for tasks, assign the day that you will “do” the task instead. Set this for one or two days ahead of the due date, and make sure to stick to it, to avoid last minute stress.
Tip of the day: Plan short term as well as long term
Be clear what your ultimate goals are, and when faced with decisions – particularly those that involve how you will use your most valuable resources (time, health & money) ask yourself, “will this move me closer to my goal?” Make a daily list of priority tasks & activities to move you forward & be sure to complete them.
